Hello everyone. I know I've been inactive for some time (pun intended) coz I only write when abnormalities happen around me. Or when my mood comes hahaha. So, something did happen today and I thought why not I share it with you lots.
Around 1.10pm my friend, Pink asked me to teman her for makan2 at Secret Recipe, depan Mydin MITC. Of coz lah I said yes coz she begged me for it (and I always fall for the same trick). So, after lunch, we went to Mydin to buy some things. I was looking for a proper shoes for a mock interview this coming Monday and Pink wanted to buy shampoos and sorts.
Then, we saw a booth (an area to be exact) for blood donation and I got interested and decided to derma darah. But, since Pink often got rejected when it comes to blood pressure test (poor her), I did the derma darah alone. This would be the third blood donation (yay!) and I'm glad to be able to help those in need, you now.
The whole process of tests and cucuk jarum and derma darah went fine, as usual. Pink left me for a while to perform Asar prayer and I rested for a bit on the chair (the one that I baring earlier). Then, I got up, minum some Milo and chatted a bit with the staffs (yeah bro, you were obviously FLIRTING with me XD) and then with Pink, we went into Mydin market. I didn't feel tired or dizzy at all, just like the previous2 blood donation. Or so I thought.
Everything got a bit strange when we went to the lower floor (barang basah and sorts). Pink was looking at some detergents and comparing things when suddenly I felt the world shook around me and I had to cangkung coz I knew I was going to lose my balance. Fortunately Pink didn't notice and there weren't people in the area. Pink asked me about the prices and I had to hentam keromo coz i couldn't think straight. I was trying to breathe and control my consciousness very hard.
Then, Pink ajak me to buy softeners and suddenly, i had this blurred vision (black patches) and I had to sandar on the softeners and Pink saw me losing balance. Shit man. Luckily I didn't jatuh and pengsan or whatever, but my vision was blurring and turning grey and I heard sounds getting further from me and yeah, sucks. Pink only watched coz she probably knew its the blood donation side effects, so she waited for me to calm down and take steady breaths.
Once I felt better (Pink definitely not convinced), we went to the frozen foods section and then, things got a lot worse. After a very few steps, I felt like someone just banged my head really hard (its the freaking headache) and I cangkung, again. I was sweating like shit and probably looked so damn pale that Pink had to leave me there to take a big trolly so that I didn't have to carry a single thing. She told me to wait outside the market and sit and rest a bit while she bayarkan my things and hers at the counter. God bless her.
She went to get her car (which was parked somewhere far) and I waited for her outside Mydin, with our shopping bags and all. Even when we had to letak barang inside her car, she told me to just get to the seat and rest and she put all the things alone. She remained quiet all the way to my house (which was unusual since she is VERY talkative) perhaps to let me rest.
From the incident, I learned few things. First, the weirdest friend can be the best person when you get into trouble. Secondly, never underestimate blood donation side effects. Headaches and blurry vision are the last thing you want to happen during your shopping spree. Third, learn from the first and second lessons.
